In November 2023, I was on my way to a dance class when a feeling hit me hard: I was lonely. My friends from college had moved away to different cities, my schedule no longer aligned with teammates I used to dance with, and I didn't have close adult friends outside of work, college, or dance.

I wanted to find community in San Francisco, quickly discovering numerous existing communities and countless events happening every day. But this was overwhelming; there had to be a better way to centralize and consolidate! Soon, the idea of a 'community of communities' was born, and I embarked on a journey of connecting people in the city, raising awareness of local organizations and events, and building a network of passionate, collaborative, and supportive people.

My story is one of many. The pandemic was a huge impact to our social lives, and it's time to rebuild community, meet new people IRL, and expand our social networks. More than ever, people are hungry for connection and belonging.
